Paragon Business Solutions, Inc. to Provide ISO 14001 Training to 6 Army Materiel Command locations.

Paragon as a subcontractor to Parsons will provide Environmental Management System training based on the ISO 14001 standard to 6 Army Material Command (AMC) locations this summer.

AMC is providing this training to assist the installations meet the requirements of executive order 13148.

President Clinton signed executive order 13148 April 21, 2000. This order requires that all “appropriate” federal facilities implement environmental management systems by 12/31/05. Go to: Executive Order. to see the executive order in its entirety. The army has selected ISO 14001 as the EMS model to be implemented army wide.
